This is great to see, I am glad that our past coaches and students will and are being honored, I have to give the credit for my success as a coach to all of the coaches that I had while at AEHS. keep up the great job and I just hope that one day I am honored in this way.

Thanks for the memories! What a wonderful tribute to the athletes and coaches! I recently met a Wheaton HS grad, class of '67 and naturally all these names came back to me! God Bless~ '69 Outer Banks, NC

I wholeheartedly agree w/Ms. VonD about Mr. Samuda. As a former student in his rigorous Spanish classes, I can testify to his relentless demand for excellence in the classroom & on the basketball court. A devoted family man, exceptional educator, and talented coach, Ricardo A. Samuda influenced the lives & futures of countless students.

For those interested, Einstein will take on Northwood High School for Homecoming on October 10th. Should be a battle! If you are in the area, stop by!

I'm so proud of my brother, Michael Owens, for being inducted this year. Even though I couldn't get there from St. Louis, I hear that the Owens crew truly "represented." My sisters Michelle, Adrienne, and Sandra returned to our alma mater w/pride. Michael was floored to see them plus nieces, nephews, his wife Carmen and their 6 kids! We never did do things in a small/subtle way. Can't wait for the DVD! Go Titans Go!

Congradulations to all the Class of 2008 HOF honerees! My congradulations to the committee, Pat Berbakos for his planning on a great weekend. Great victory for the football Titans over Kennedy 2008. To Jan von Doenhoff, you are right about Coach Samuda, if there was a teachers HOF you would get my vote.

As I looked at my last message, one can see my typing skills have not improved. This message it to the Committee. I think you are really missing the boat if you don't put Ricardo ( Samuda) on your next list. As much as I adored Jack Keller and he certainly should have been the first coach to get this honor, Ricardo has remained a very close friend and many good athletes and students owe him a great deal. He was more than just a coach! I also think you need to find where Michael Lynch is and honor him , as he really paved the way for basketball at Einstein.I was very happy to see Roxanne Pierce and Rolf Neitzel made the HOF, they both deserve the honor.
